I am very fortunate that I have many good strong relationships in my life. My husband and I have a great marriage. We have many friends that are good couples that share our faith and our belief in family values. I also have girlfriends and sisters that I spend time with. I feel it is important to have female friends that support me and that I can give support to.

One of my dearest friends has been through many hardships over the past couple of years. Her parents and one of her sisters died. She also had a good friend pass away. During this time she had also quit her job and decided to get her law degree. I had to admire the fact that a fifty two year old woman would decide to pursue a new career in the legal profession. When she was done with classes and had taken the bar exam we decided that we would take a trip together. We looked into Las Vegas deals and found that we could have an inexpensive get away. We have gone to Vegas together in the past. We both enjoy playing slot machines, watching people, and going to the shows. We called a travel agent and asked her to research Las Vegas deals and we also looked on-line. The last time we had been in Vegas we had joined a players club through the hotel/casino we were staying at. Through the players club you get a card that you place in the slot machines while you are playing. By doing this you earn comp points as well as cash back. The comp points can be used to buy meals at the restaurants in the casino and also to purchase items in the gift shops. The player’s club cards are one of the best Las Vegas deals that are available. The last time we were in Vegas all of our meals were free and we each had over fifty dollars to spend in the gift shop the last day. We got all of our souvenirs free.

Once you have a players card you also get promotional ads from the hotel and casino for deals on rooms. We had not been to Vegas for two years so we had stopped receiving the promotions. I told my girlfriend that I would call the toll free number on the back of the card and see if they hotel was offering any specials. This was a great decision. If we came during the week we would receive two nights lodging free and two complementary tickets to one of the shows at the hotel.  These were the best Las Vegas deals that we had come across. We booked the room and used frequent flyer miles to get cheap air faire. Our trip is going to be very inexpensive, which leaves more money for us to gamble with.
