Let Star Trek: The Experience Beam You to a World of Adventure
Located on the ground floor of the Hilton Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is Star Trek: The Experience. This is an attraction that people who aren’t fans of any of the Star Trek television shows might dismiss and pass by. This would be a mistake, however, as the museum and the rides are fun for even those who don’t know the difference between a Klingon and a Romulan.
The History of the Future Museum
This museum holds more than 200 items covering the entire history of the Star Trek Universe, from the original series to The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise (which was actually something of a prequel to the original series). You can peruse the uniforms, weapons, replicas of the ships and more. The most impressive part about the whole museum is that it is built to look as though you are walking around a spaceship or a space station like Deep Space Nine or the Enterprise. It is a fun time regardless of just how much you know about Star Trek.
The Klingon Encounter
This popular ride pits you, as part of the Federation, against a Klingon Warship. During the 18-minute ride, your shuttlecraft attempts to evade the Klingons. It is a fun ride that lets you experience some of the more exciting aspects of the Star Trek universe.
The Borg Invasion in 4D
Touted as the most ambitious 4D project ever created, the Borg Invasion is an incredibly realistic experience that combines live actors with special effects. As you tour a research facility, a group of Borg (cybernetic monsters) invades and tries to assimilate you into their collective – a frightening prospect. This is one experience that really gives you the feeling of being there!
Grab Food and Drink at Quark’s Bar and Restaurant
This authentic replica from the show Star Trek: Deep Space Nine is a Cardassian themed bar that provides some of the finest food and unique drinks in Las Vegas. After experiencing the rides and the museum, this is a good place to relax with friends, sit back, and sip on your Cardassian Cooler, Warp Core Breach, or some other tasty concoction.
Star Trek: The Experience is a one of a kind attraction that continues to draw countless visitors every year.
