There are places throughout the area that you can rent bicycles or get your bike serviced so don’t think you can’t participate because you don’t have a bike, don’t worry about it, and rent one!  Get out there and see the beauty of Lake Tahoe.

Maybe you don’t want to ride the trails but hike them.  Climb the mountains and get close to nature.  Tahoe’s trails are never-ending for hikers.  It is a back-to-nature wonderland.  You will have the opportunity to hike for miles and miles of unspoiled trails, mountain peaks, and deep blue skies for weeks on end and view of the lake so perfect you will want to stay forever in this idyllic setting.

You might want to consider heading for Squaw Valley to hike part of the 2,000 miles Pacific Crest Trail where you’ll behold the entire Tahoe Basin.  There are so many trails, so much to see that you will be delighted with your experience and want to come back year after year!
